When All Creativity Fails
Every Christmas season, we check the ABC Family schedule to set the DVR. The Pixies love those old Rankin Bass holiday specials. So there I was, sifting through the program offerings when what should I stumble upon but a little film entitled “Holiday in Handcuffs” starring a couple of dregs from the cup of Hollywood Has-Been.

Man, some of those later Rankin Bass specials were scraping the bottom of the barrel, too. “Rudolph and Frosty Save Christmas” was comically bad. The kids liked it, though.

True. But if any kids are like the Pixies, they are holiday-tv-special “whores” who will watch just about anything – not unlike the many who will be tuning in to catch “Holiday in Handcuffs”!
